Our warranty includes repair or touch-up for:
- Peeling, blistering, or flaking paint caused by poor prep or application
- Cracking or chipping due to workmanship errors
- Adhesion failure on properly prepped surfaces
- Touch-ups and repairs to affected areas within the warranty period
- Caulking failure (if applied by OVO) ā covered for 1 year
- Excessive fading within 1 year of application
- Stain or tannin bleed-through on properly primed surfaces
ā Whatās Not Covered
- Decks, including steps, flooring, or railings
- Horizontal surfaces such as rail caps, window sills, ledges
- Varnished surfaces
- Metal surfaces
- Moisture damage, mold, or mildew
- Structural movement or foundation shifts
- Vandalism, accidental damage, or outside trades
- Normal wear and tear, fading, dirt buildup
- Surfaces painted over pre-existing failures
ā Warranty Validity
To keep your warranty valid, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The original contract and invoice must be paid in full.
- The surfaces must have been properly maintained according to OVO Paintingās recommendations.
- No unauthorized repairs, alterations, or coatings may be applied without OVO Paintingās written consent.
- Warranty claims must be reported within the applicable coverage period with photographic evidence and a description of the issue.
- OVO Painting reserves the sole and final discretion to approve or deny any warranty claim based on its assessment of the issue.
Failure to meet these conditions may void the warranty.
